Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon is a self-confessed untrained designer whose talent is such that he made a name for himself at the Italian furniture firm Cappellini, where he designed the iconic S chair. As his company’s biography states: “Tom then went on to create his own company, 'Eurolounge,' under which he made and sold the much celebrated Jack light. Dixon was appointed head of design by Habitat in 1998 and later became Creative Director until his departure in January 2008. Dixon was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2001. He is the Creative Director of Tom Dixon.”
